Orthez-born Paul Lay, French pianist and winner of the 2020 Victoires du Jazz, is renowned for his unique playing and many innovative collaborations. He has released several acclaimed albums, including Mikado, The Party, Thanks a Million (a tribute to Louis Armstrong) and Full Solo, his highly successful 1st solo album devoted to Beethoven.

part 2: Fapy Lafertin Trio feat. Adrian Cox
Fapy Lafertin got his start in music at a very early age, playing in the legendary Waso band, reviving the Django Reinhardt style. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with major jazz figures. Today, it’s Fapy himself who is considered a master of gypsy swing jazz. He will be playing with Adrian Cox, a talented traditional jazz clarinettist. A unique encounter!
