Théâtre | Ultramarins
Captain of a cargo ship crossing the Atlantic, ?Elle? agrees to cut the engines and let her all-male crew swim in the Atlantic. This entry into the aquatic element marks the irruption of mystery into the routine and contaminates the rest of the voyage. When the sailors come back up, it seems there are no longer 20 of them, but 21.
A reflection on freedom, authority and desire, this show is an adaptation of playwright Mariette NAVARRO?s first novel, published in 2021 by Quidam éditeur. The spellbinding language of the book is brought to life by actress Catherine Mouriec, alone on stage.
By the Théâtre des Chimères as part of the Nuit de la lecture 2026, an event organized by the Centre National du Livre.
